A First Time for Everything
[Continued from the Tag Someone New meme]
Jane had debated for the better part of an hour whether to actually go out with Jack. Yes, their meeting had seemed ideal, and he seemed like a great guy. But appearances could be deceiving.
After talking with Darcy she decided to go through with it - with Darcy's tazer in her purse. She texted him the address of her favorite Japanese restaurant, telling him to meet her at 8. After going through every dress in her closet she decided on a simple black one, accenting it with gold shoes and jewelry. She left her hair down simply because she didn't like every way she tried it up.
She walked to the restaurant since it was only a block from her apartment. She arrived early - she liked arriving early - and stood outside waiting for him. She paced to work off some nervous energy. Astrophysics she had no trouble with. Dating made her shake in her heels.

"There you go! This way your blood will taste like sushi." She chewed and swallowed, following with a drink of water. Kiss? She blushed slightly, then decided that if he was going to go there, she could go even further.
"The real secret is that we've been on this date before. I bring you here every night, then I take you back to my place and feed on you and erase your memory afterwards." Jane made a scary face, then dissolved into giggles. Just the idea of doing such a thing was funny. She would never in a million years do something like that.

"Really, I think there's something wrong with me: I don't know whether to be frightened or flattered!" Jack laughed heartily. He was in heaven between seeing her light up with laughter and the flirty level she was teasing on. "You'll have to forgive me. I'm quite sensitive on the neck so you can clearly see why I'm torn. Especially the idea of having been bitten and sucked on a little!"
They were venturing into silly and obvious flirting. Jack could be when comfortable enough. He didn't drink so that level of comfort wasn't as easy as it was for others. He didn't question if he pushed the envelope too far, Jane played along and anything said could be dismissed. ...As long as she didn't ask if he was serious. Because he was.
Jack simmered his laughter that had made his eyes nearly invisible from squinting while nearly blinding Jane with his smile. He stole another sushi roll and popped it in his mouth with a wink. "I do as I'm told, Madam."

Jane snickered and shrugged. "Who said I've been biting you on the neck? You would notice bite marks there. I've been much more creative." Her own flirting was making her blush, as the mental image of the most likely other place a vampire would feed from filled her mind - the inner thigh. She shook her head and waved her chopsticks at him.
"Madam? We're well past that, aren't we? Unless you're trying to make it sound like I run a brothel." It was just going from bad to worse! From vampire feeding to whorehouses. She tried to laugh it off, searching his face for reassurance that she hadn't gone too far with her last comment.

His brow shot up at her immediate reply. Jack nearly snorted with laughter. He felt his face rush with warmth which meant he probably had a slight blush too. His own knowledge of vampires was limited so his mind went somewhere other than his thigh, even if the femoral artery made complete sense. He thought of locations that would be impossible for him to see instead of just difficult.
"I don't know. Was I being fed on by anyone else? Then possibly the title suits you well," he continued to tease. Jack started laughing again. "I am a sizable man. You very well could be making a buffet out of me." It wasn't until he completely finished speaking that it dawned on him his exact words...'sizable man'. They apparently were venturing all over the gutter now. And enjoying it.

"Oh, no, I don't share. Not my real food, anyway." She pushed the plate of sushi even closer to him. She was giggling between bites and wondering if she could pause and take a drink of water without it coming out of her nose.
"Okay, okay, I concede. You win the double entendre contest!" She tossed her hands up in the air with a smile and shook her head. "I can't possibly beat that one." And yet, unintentionally, she just had.
