"It sounds like things are pretty nice here, then. Do you like it?" She supposed her situation could have been much worse. She was in a beautiful place where everything she needed would be provided to her for free, and the one person she wanted to be with the most was with her. The start had admittedly been rocky, but the prospects for the future looked promising.

"I hope you're right." She felt a small pang of jealousy at the mention of another woman, even though there was no suggestion that he had any sort of relationship with her.
