[Jane takes a deep breath and presses the button to start the broadcast.]

Hello everyone, Jane Foster here. [She takes another deep breath and clears her throat.]

First, I want to apologize for my behavior during the shift. I was, obviously, not myself. If I damaged any property, or feelings for that matter, I'm going to do everything I can to make up for it, I promise. And I really hope that you don't think I'm like that normally. I'm very friendly and I love helping people and making friends.

[If she doesn't stop herself she'll ramble on with profuse apologies, so she pauses and moves on.]

Secondly, if anyone has any spare electronics they don't need or want any more, I'd be happy to take them off of your hands. Working or not, it doesn't matter. That includes extension cords and cables too. Just drop them off at my place in the Flame Building. There will be a box outside my door you can leave them in if I'm not home. I'm trying to put something together that I think everyone in Luceti would enjoy. I'll post another message if I manage to pull it off. Thank you!

[She gives a wave as a way of signing off, then the screen goes dark.]

I didn't realize there was anything to find out about other than personal stuff. I didn't want to know about how much everyone loved her or misses her.

[And by everyone she means Thor, of course.]

Did she leave work stuff behind that I can see?

And I hope you know I just nearly snorted my drink out of my nose at that mental image. Where I'm from, the only things that frolic are nymphs and satyrs.

Where is it you think they learned to frolic?

Well, you know. There's not all that many things to keep yourself busy in this place. Especially the last few days. I've been really focused on making progress on this.

[In part because he had been spending a little too much time not at home, but more recently—with that more or less resolved—it was still handy at not spending too much time distracted by the ghosts.]

The real trick is now figuring out how to power it up. I've actually gotten to see the insides of these things before, though not close enough to study them. There's got to be something electrical or... some sort of energy component on the inside.

But apparently we're not the only ones curious about it.

[Jane picked up and studied what he had created, opening and closing it several times.]

Well, I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, but I know a guy who can create energy on his own. Do you know Remy Lebeau? He might be able to get it jump started, so to speak.

There are many things upon Midgard that come from myth that have a shard of truth.

Hey, let's not be too hard on ourselves. [Part of him may still have a crush on that Jane after all.]

[She just wished that the memories would go away. She had a lifetime's worth of terrible experiences still in her head.]

We are more than cool, Kurt. I consider you a true friend.

[Jane has to struggle to keep from snorting. She's pretty sure nobody has ever described her as 'rad'.]

I have all of the notes that you, I and Tony Stark worked on, as a matter of fact. Somewhere.

That's true. My curiosity tends to get me in trouble, though, so I've been trying to reign it in.

That sounds like fun. I've been hoping I'd get to teleport with you some more.

Oh so mysterious! Don't tell me you're trying the bad boy thing now. Because I'm not really into that. :)

Bad boy thing? I have done nothing 'bad' that I know of yet, nor do I know why you should find that alluring.

Hey, that can be arranged! It'll be the grandest tour you could hope for! [Especially now that he's glad just to be able to teleport again.]

Some people find it attractive. The excitement of dating someone dark and dangerous... like your brother, for example. The thing is, when you're with a guy like that, you know it can't last. You only settle down with the good guys.
