Post-Shift Apologies and Things [Video] - open

[Jane takes a deep breath and presses the button to start the broadcast.]

Hello everyone, Jane Foster here. [She takes another deep breath and clears her throat.]

First, I want to apologize for my behavior during the shift. I was, obviously, not myself. If I damaged any property, or feelings for that matter, I'm going to do everything I can to make up for it, I promise. And I really hope that you don't think I'm like that normally. I'm very friendly and I love helping people and making friends.

[If she doesn't stop herself she'll ramble on with profuse apologies, so she pauses and moves on.]

Secondly, if anyone has any spare electronics they don't need or want any more, I'd be happy to take them off of your hands. Working or not, it doesn't matter. That includes extension cords and cables too. Just drop them off at my place in the Flame Building. There will be a box outside my door you can leave them in if I'm not home. I'm trying to put something together that I think everyone in Luceti would enjoy. I'll post another message if I manage to pull it off. Thank you!

[She gives a wave as a way of signing off, then the screen goes dark.]

[Sokka takes the ball and puts it back on his workbench. It starts to roll off, so he catches it again, puts it back, and gives it a stern look. It doesn't roll off again. Better.]

Oh you know, a lot of basic forge things. I mean, this place is a little more advanced to the process that I was used to when I first made Space Sword, but it still works. Over there is the oven, [he says while pointing,] where you put the swords and what not for treating. Then here's a decent amount of machinery for shaping things. For this I needed to use a mold to create it and then pour the molten metal into it. Definitely not something I've done before, so that's why it took so long to do. Buuuuut I'm a good enough artist, so it just took a little while to get right.

[Yet truth be told, this was still admittedly a little more modern than what he was used to... though not by too much. It felt like home.]

Well, I wouldn't have either... until my swordsmaster Piandao taught me how to forge my own sword. Though every step he told me really made a lot of sense in the grand scheme of things. Here it's just a matter of being creative with the tools you've got... and figuring out ways to circumvent their normal purpose to do something more interesting.

But hey, you've got all this knowledge of stuff I only barely understand. You're the one who got me started down the right path with this thing.
