[Jane takes a deep breath and presses the button to start the broadcast.]
Hello everyone, Jane Foster here. [She takes another deep breath and clears her throat.]
First, I want to apologize for my behavior during the shift. I was, obviously, not myself. If I damaged any property, or feelings for that matter, I'm going to do everything I can to make up for it, I promise. And I really hope that you don't think I'm like that normally. I'm very friendly and I love helping people and making friends.
[If she doesn't stop herself she'll ramble on with profuse apologies, so she pauses and moves on.]
Secondly, if anyone has any spare electronics they don't need or want any more, I'd be happy to take them off of your hands. Working or not, it doesn't matter. That includes extension cords and cables too. Just drop them off at my place in the Flame Building. There will be a box outside my door you can leave them in if I'm not home. I'm trying to put something together that I think everyone in Luceti would enjoy. I'll post another message if I manage to pull it off. Thank you!
[She gives a wave as a way of signing off, then the screen goes dark.]

Welcome, welcome to our humble shop. [And then he switches over to his normal voice.] My workstation is over this way.
[He leads her to one of the corners of the room, and on his desk, there'll be one Poké Ball front and center, along with a handful of rather misshapen ones resting against the wall.]

The real trick is now figuring out how to power it up. I've actually gotten to see the insides of these things before, though not close enough to study them. There's got to be something electrical or... some sort of energy component on the inside.
But apparently we're not the only ones curious about it.

Date: 2014-10-08 03:53 pm (UTC)Well, I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, but I know a guy who can create energy on his own. Do you know Remy Lebeau? He might be able to get it jump started, so to speak.

Date: 2014-10-15 07:00 am (UTC)I can't say I know this Remy guy, though I think I'd like to know more about him from what you say!

Date: 2014-10-16 08:26 pm (UTC)I'm not sure how his ability works, actually. Something about unlocking the inherent kinetic energy in anything he touches? But he was using it to help me weld, so I know for certain he can do that.
The next time I see him, I'll ask him if he's interested in joining in our little experiment.

Date: 2014-10-20 03:15 am (UTC)I don't suppose it could hurt, so sure. We should probably also try to ask the trainers to see if anyone actually does know how it works before we get too far. I mean, it could be that we're just missing something completely obvious... or worse yet, completely obvious to them.
Of course, about half of the trainers are little kids, so it's totally possible that that's a dead-end track.

So what kind of equipment do you have here?
[Action]
Date: 2014-10-26 01:10 am (UTC)Oh you know, a lot of basic forge things. I mean, this place is a little more advanced to the process that I was used to when I first made Space Sword, but it still works. Over there is the oven, [he says while pointing,] where you put the swords and what not for treating. Then here's a decent amount of machinery for shaping things. For this I needed to use a mold to create it and then pour the molten metal into it. Definitely not something I've done before, so that's why it took so long to do. Buuuuut I'm a good enough artist, so it just took a little while to get right.

Date: 2014-10-28 06:22 pm (UTC)You've done an amazing job with what's here. I wouldn't know where to start.
[Action]
Date: 2014-11-10 01:22 pm (UTC)Well, I wouldn't have either... until my swordsmaster Piandao taught me how to forge my own sword. Though every step he told me really made a lot of sense in the grand scheme of things. Here it's just a matter of being creative with the tools you've got... and figuring out ways to circumvent their normal purpose to do something more interesting.
But hey, you've got all this knowledge of stuff I only barely understand. You're the one who got me started down the right path with this thing.
